Hello,
This is a character who lives in my head. His name is Throgmorton. I don’t know why. Better ask him.

Watercolour and ink. 80mm x 105mm
This one’s a bit different from previous watercolours, as I used masking fluid and painted first, laying the ink drawing over the wash and filling the detail in last. Experimentation. Yikes!

He looks chilly. I like your snow. I’m sad that he doesn’t have arms. But he looks happy enough without them. I feel like I want to knit him a scarf.

thank you dear
I’m not sure it was meant to be snow originally, but we’ll go with that.
I can’t remember why he doesn’t have arms, but who am I to argue with my brain-based manifestations.
He would love you to knit him a scarf
xx

HA I just looked again and of course it’s not snow. I’m sorry I must’ve been tired last time I was here *blush*
Still, if ever you did want to do snow, you know you’d be good at it at least

Not so sure Ali, I think you’re right. There’s something about white on a blue background that just *has* to be snow :

is the tree (?) significant ? – for me I almost feel as if he is looking to ” branch Out” to look to the branches to grow as he doesnt have arms ?

Hmm.. no I hadn’t thought about that.. it’s just a thing that was in my head
but who knows.. perhaps he *is* one of the leaves from the tree.. he is green after all
